Jobs in Kyivmiskbud

Igor Mykolayovych Kushnir starts work at Kyivmiskbud
Ihor Kushnir was elected Chairman of the Board and President of the Holding Company Kyivmiskbud in April 2012. At that time, the company was in a challenging state: its financial and economic position was problematic, shares of subsidiary enterprises had been sold off, and the company’s reputation and public trust had significantly declined.

However, Ihor Kushnir was already well known as a talented crisis manager, having successfully developed his own business for decades prior. His primary goals were to increase construction volumes, strengthen financial indicators, digitize internal processes, and restore the company’s reputation as a reliable developer.

Key Achievements
Just two years after taking office, in 2014, Kushnir’s team succeeded in fully reclaiming ownership of 31 subsidiary enterprises. The company’s core construction activities were also revitalized: Kyivmiskbud managed numerous projects, completing one residential complex and promptly beginning another. As activity on construction sites intensified, buyers returned to the company’s sales offices.

The holding company became a regular participant in national rankings, often taking top positions. Kyivmiskbud was recognized as an industry leader, one of the most powerful developers in Kyiv, and the driving force of the capital’s construction sector.Kushnir himself also gained recognition - for several consecutive years, he was named Ukraine’s Best Manager among construction industry executives.

Over 12 years of leadership, Ihor Kushnir not only restored Kyivmiskbud’s former prestige but elevated it beyond previous achievements. In 2014, the company entered the Book of Records of Ukraine as the developer with the largest volume of constructed real estate - over 45 million square meters of housing, schools, kindergartens, and infrastructure projects.

Under Kushnir’s leadership alone, the company completed more than 4 million square meters of new construction. During this period, over 32,000 families received new homes across 126 residential developments.

Landmark Residential Complexes Built by Kyivmiskbud under Ihor Mykolayovych Kushnir
Among the most recognizable developments built under Kushnir’s leadership are:
French Quarter, Italian Quarter, Kyiv Venice, Novomostytsko-Zamkovetskyi, Medovyi, Kakhovska, John Paul II, as well as residential complexes at 22 Ahmatova Street and 11 Kopernyka Street.
The Courage to Complete Ukrbud Projects
Kyivmiskbud’s strong market position led to its selection as the primary company entrusted to complete Ukrbud’s unfinished projects. In 2019, Ukrbud faced severe financial difficulties that halted construction on multiple residential complexes, sparking growing discontent among property buyers.

By government decision, the continuation and completion of these projects were assigned to Kyivmiskbud. Out of 18 residential complexes accepted for completion, 11 were fully or partially commissioned during Ihor Kushn
Challenges and Resilience
Ihor Kushnir has never been one to give up in difficult times: “A crisis is a new opportunity.”
One of the most serious challenges came with the COVID-19 pandemic, which reached Ukraine in early 2019. Despite a temporary slowdown that spring, the company’s operations were quickly adapted to the new realities.

Thanks to Kushnir’s timely management decisions, Kyivmiskbud was able to continue construction work (despite a near-total collapse in real estate sales), retain its entire team, and restructure internal economic processes to meet the unpredictable and rapidly changing environment.
“Every Finish Is Essentially a Start”
Ihor Kushnir dedicated 12 years of his life to Kyivmiskbud. In December 2023, he submitted his resignation at his own request.
